Maximiliano Tamae-Kakazu, MD, FCCP, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. He serves as the Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Corewell Health Grand Rapids. He is the chair of the Research Vetting Committee in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Corewell Health Grand Rapids. He is the current Chair of the Membership Committee at the American College of Chest Physicians. He received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, and his fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of Chicago.
