Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital
Lama Hsaiky, PharmD, is an associate professor (adjunct) at Wayne State University College of Pharmacy and serves at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital in the role of a pharmacy manager for clinical and quality services, and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Lead for Corewell Health. She is highly involved with the medication management system at Corewell Health as well as residency program strategies and research development. Dr. Hsaiky is very involved in state and national associations. She has been an active member of the American Society of Hospital Pharmacy (ASHP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) for many years. She is a co-chair of the Professional and Legal Affairs Committee for the Michigan Society of Hospital Pharmacists (MSHP) and a co-chair of the Inforum HealthcareNEXT Leadership Affinity Group Subcommittee and a core member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Subcommittee- Michigan Department of Health and Human Services-Surveillance for Healthcare-Associated and Resistant Pathogens (SHARP). Dr. Hsaiky received her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from Wayne State University in 2002, completed a Transplant Pharmacotherapy Residency focusing on chronic illnesses and infectious diseases at Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit, and has been board certified in general pharmacotherapy since 2003. She has a strong passion for quality improvement, patient safety, research, and academia.
