This month, we received extra funding to create guidelines for the appropriate use of vascular devices in critically ill patients. In collaboration with the American Thoracic Society (ATS), we are working on a joint clinical statement. The consensus panel will take place alongside the 2026 National ATS meeting. We will invite several key stakeholders from our partnership to participate in this esteemed panel of national experts in vascular access and critical care.
Together, our goal is to develop evidence-based recommendations that will enhance patient outcomes and improve the standard of care in critical settings. This initiative will draw on the expertise of leading professionals to address current challenges and innovate solutions for vascular access.
