On January 28th, 2019, HMS launched its PICC Tier 2 toolkit. HMS member hospitals can access the toolkit through our new Learning Management System (LMS).
Our participating hospitals have been divided into groups that will implement focused practices to one of three targeted conditions:
- Catheter Occlusion
- PICC-related Deep Vein Thrombosis or Thromboembolism
- PICC-related Bloodstream Infection (e.g., CLABSI)
As a reminder, to access the toolkit you will need a hospital level username and password. Please contact hospmedqi@umich.edu if you are an HMS member and need access.
