Arjun Srinivasan, MD (CAPT, USPHS) Associate Director for Healthcare-Associated Infection Prevention Programs, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) presented at the July 31, 2019 collaborative-wide meeting. His talk was entitled, "An Update on National Stewardship Activities 2019." The afternoon session focused on leveraging health care systems to improve quality of care. We had a panel discussion with representation from 6 systems across the HMS collaborative to discuss facilitators and barriers to scaling quality improvement across multiple hospitals.
