Coordinating Center Physicians Publish Editorial on VTE Prophylaxis in Hospitalized Medical Patients

Vineet Chopra, MD, MSc, and Scott Flanders, MD, recently published an editorial in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis entitled, Revisiting the tale of venous thromboemoblism in hospitalized medical patients.  They comment on the changing landscape of VTE in hospitalized patients and the need to consider new approaches for avoiding hospital-acquired VTE.
